Week of August 29 - September 4, 2010:  "The worst moment for the atheist is when he is really thankful and has nobody to thank."     Dante Gabriel Rossetti  (1828-1882)

The information found on this website was compiled in the hope that the memory of the ones that preceded us will not perish.  I can remember when the Indian Creek Church reunions drew as many as 200 descendants of families of the Indian Creek Methodist Church.  Today, we are fortunate to have thirty people to attend the annual reunion.

It is my sincere hope that those who view these pages will be enlightened enough to start caring and join us at our next annual meeting of the Indian Creek Church and Cemetery Association.  Our meetings are held the first Sunday in June.  The care of our ancestors rests with us.  The following pages contain a brief history of the Indian Creek Community and Church. I have tried to be as accurate as possible by taking from historical facts and personal interviews. If an error is noted, please advise and it will be corrected.

Following the historical recollections, there is a listing of all known burials at the cemetery.  We do know that there are a few buried there unknown but to God.  If you have information of a loved one buried at Indian Creek Cemetery and they are not listed, please contact me and they will be added to the list.

In the final section, a place for biographical sketches has been added.  If you have information of one buried at Indian Creek Cemetery and you wish to add a biographical sketch, please contact me with the information.
